QUALIFICATIONS: |
Must possess
as a minimum a two-year post-secondary business/accounting diploma
together with experience in a computerized accounting
environment. Equivalent combinations of education and
experience will be considered. Must posses a high level of
organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, be capable of
working independently, neatly, accurately, and be able to meet deadlines. |

DUTIES: |
The Accounting
Clerk IV is a senior accounting position within the Finance
Department and is responsible for a wide range of complex accounting,
administrative, and clerical duties for the City. Duties include
analyzing Capital accounts, account reconciliation's, account
billings and preparation of Government remittances. The Accounting
Clerk IV deals effectively and on a regular basis with other City
Departments and the public. In addition, other duties may be assigned
on occasion. |
