City of Lloydminster Utility Bills
Water and Sewer Utility bills are sent every second month based on usage.
The current rates for these services are provided in
Bylaw 70-2012.
During the Dec. 12, 2012 regular council meeting, City Council approved a three-year plan for the Water and Sewer Utilities Rates. The first year rate change will be effective as of April 30, 2013.
The new rate structure promotes water conservation by incorporating a fixed fee based on meter size and a single consumption rate for all water usage.
Consumers using less than seven cubic metres of water will see a decrease in their water bills. Consumers using more than seven cubic metres will see an increase depending on the amount of water used. The average consumer uses 21 cubic metres of water and will see an increase of 14 per cent.
