Lloydminster, Saskatchewan Residents Eligible for Disaster Relief
The City of Lloydminster has received confirmation that the June 9, 2017 rainfall event will be recognized by Saskatchewan under the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program as a claim event eligible for disaster relief.

The Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) is designed to help Saskatchewan residents, small businesses, agricultural operations, communal organizations, non-profit organizations, parks and communities recover from the effects of natural disasters, including flooding, tornadoes, plow winds and other severe weather.

The Provincial Disaster Assistance Program covers damage or loss to uninsurable, essential property. It is important to remember PDAP is not a substitute for private insurance nor does it provide full compensation for losses. PDAP provides assistance to return property to its pre-disaster value; expenses beyond that value will not be covered by PDAP.

A copy of the application form can be printed here or picked up at City Hall. All forms and necessary documentation must be submitted to Saskatchewan Provincial Disaster Assistance Program at:

The City has submitted an application to the AB Disaster Recovery Program on behalf of Alberta residents. The application is under review and Alberta residents that have submitted a Disaster Tracking Form to the City will be notified once the Province has reached a decision regarding the City’s application.
