Mommy and Me Registered Classes

Please ensure that you complete and return the required health questionnaire prior to beginning any fitness course.

PAR-Q - to be completed by participants who are not pregnant. 
PARMED-XPREG to be completed by pregnant participants. 
PARMED-X to be completed by participants & their doctor if health questionnaire was positive.


Prenatal Water Aerobics - 10 Classes 
Swimming is possibly the best exercise you can do during your pregnancy. Benefits from water aerobics include better sleep, increased energy, and endurance. Relief from back pain and better flexibility. Everyone is free to work at their own pace during this gentle but effective workout. Participants are required to have a PAR-Q Med-X Pregnancy form filled out by the participant’s doctor which will be handed to the Instructor at the beginning of the first class. Participation will not be allowed if the form is not completed.

Mom & Tot (Ages 1-3)
Get active and wet with your little ones. This 45-minute class will improve your fitness while enjoying time with your baby. Your baby will love the activities and splashing in the water while you improve your health. This is a great way to meet other parents and get active.

Water Aerobics Class Descriptions

Corporate Crunch
 
A 30-minute class perfect for your lunch hour! This is a low impact workout designed for those who want to get into shape and keep healthy. Muscle toning and strengthening will also be incorporated for total overall health.


Deep Water H.I.I.T (High-Intensity Interval Training)
High intensity and high energy, this class is great for individuals with a solid background and consistent history of working out. This will help prevent injury and it’s a fun and exciting way to add to your fitness routine. Participants should be 18 years+, already engaged in a strong fitness routine and comfortable in deep water. Participants are required to fill in a PAR-Q form before they start the program.

Senior Aerobics (Ages 50+)
Aqua aerobics is one of the most effective and safe ways to get you into shape. These aerobic exercises are done in the swimming pool standing in chest deep water. Aqua aerobics are excellent for individuals who want to get into shape, are recovering from an injury or surgery or have health conditions like arthritis, backache, osteoporosis, or those who are overweight. 

Splash & Dash
Choose your depth - shallow or deep, in this circuit style class. Upbeat music will get your heart pumping as you splash and dash to work muscles throughout the body. The instructor guides you through each station so that beginners to advance participants feel comfortable and challenged in this exciting workout.

Wicked Water Workout
This high-intensity class will challenge your movements and work your cardiovascular system. Prepare yourself for the ultimate “No Impact” workout; expect powerful moves and a full range of motion to improve your strength, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility. We will use floatation devices and create a challenging workout. This class is for those who are looking for a high energy class to get in shape and lose weight. Please bring a water bottle.

Suitable for mature adults, people returning from injury or simply those with a renewed enthusiasm for exercise. Enjoy the hot tub, sauna or steam room after your workout and relax.
