Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Lloydminster Fire Department received a generous donation of 450 plush teddies from Northern Factory Workwear. The bears will play a crucial role in providing comfort and solace to children affected by traumatic events, including vehicle collisions, house fires and medical emergencies.
The plush bears, aptly named "Trauma Teddy," will serve as faithful companions, providing a sense of security and reassurance to children in distress. Firefighters will be equipped with these bears, enabling them to offer immediate comfort to children involved in accidents or other traumatic incidents. These bears will not only bring smiles to their faces but also serve as a bridge to establishing trust and building positive relationships between the Lloydminster Fire Department and the young ones the department aims to help and protect.
