2017 Summer Camps | Ages 3 - 11
Get active with eight weeks of summer camps with the City of Lloydminster.
Camps are offered at the Bioclean Aquatic Centre, Servus Sports Centre, and Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre. Register your child this summer to increase their exposure to culture, sports, and recreation activities while at summer camp!

Campers, ages 3 - 11, will enjoy a new theme each week, offering a variety of structured and unstructured program options, which include art, sports, music and more!

How to Register
Online - May 30 | 9 AM
In-House - May 31 | 9 AM

You may register your child at Servus Sports Centre, Bioclean Aquatic Centre, or Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre for any of the camps. You do not need to register at the specific location of the camp that you wish to register your child.

HELPFUL TIPS & WHAT TO BRING


  • Both indoor and outdoor activities will take place on these fun-filled days
  • Please leave all valuables and electronics at home
  • All belongings should be clearly marked and labelled with the child's name on it.
All Children are required to bring:

  • Their own nutritious lunch, as well as snack and water bottle. Due to allergy concerns, please ensure all food products are nut free.
  • Running Shoes
  • Swimsuit and towel (if your child is attending a camp at the Bioclean Aquatic Centre)
  • Sunscreen, hat, backpack, insect repellent, jacket and/or sweater.





Drop-offs and Pick-ups

Please remember to sign your child in at the beginning of camp and sign them out at the end of each day. If you have any special accommodations needed for the day such as early pick-ups or appointments, notify the program leader upon dropping your child off.

Before & After Care

In order to better accommodate your schedule, each recreation facility is offering 'Before Care' and 'After Care'.

CAMPS


Sneak-A-Peak
Servus Sports Centre | June 29 & 30
This two-day camp gives insight to the rest of what Summer Fun is all about! Your child will experience a little bit of everything that will be offered over the next eight weeks! Try it out for one day, or stay for both!

Sports Explorers
Servus Sports Centre | July 3 - 7
Is your child new to sports or an expert athlete? Either way, let's get moving. Try numerous sports and learn key fundamentals all in one week.

Ninja Warriors
Servus Sports Centre | July 10 - 14
Jump, duck, dive, climb and crawl your way through this camp. We will shape your child into a little super spy with our fun gizmo crafts, obstacle courses, problem-solving games and team building with competitive relay races!

Art Gone Wild
Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre | July 17 - 21
Go wild with your creativity! Allow your child to explore their artistic side in this visual art camp. Craft, draw and paint using a variety of different methods and techniques. Complete a unique art project to take home.

Science Discovery

Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre | July 24 - 28
Join us at the LCSC to conduct hands-on experiments, explore how things work, and experience the magic of science. Get your child involved in chemistry experiments, motion activities, and discover the world of nature and space.

World Travelers

Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre | July 31 - August 4

Get ready to travel! Discover a variety of cultural traditions from around the globe while they visit a variety of continents through games, crafts and activities. Celebrate what makes the world unique by learning about different people and places.

Splish Splash
Bioclean Aquatic Centre | August 8 - 11
It's time to cool off! Water week has everything you need for fun in the sun! Get ready for water games, fun in the Spray Park and daily swims at the pool! Don't forget about our camp-wide water fight on the last day!

Little Chefs
Bioclean Aquatic Centre | August 14 - 18
We will be making some seriously tasty treats at camp this week! With a mixture of many different ingredients, all things that the kids will be cooking up this week will be delightfully delicious!
* Please inform the camp supervisors of any allergies prior to camp. There will be no swimming in the morning for the 3-5-year-old camps.

Outdoor Adventurers

Bioclean Aquatic Centre | August 21 - 25
Bring out the outdoor adventurer in your child! Find a secret hideaway, build a fairy house, rock hop in the pond and make a nature journal! This camp is sure to have something for everyone!

 Please follow KYHFOOTY: "Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself." Kindness and respect should be shown to fellow campers, staff and guests at all times. Be gentle with plants and animals on the Park grounds. Clean up after yourself. Please use an indoor voice while indoors.

 Follow the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it.

 Stay with your group at ALL times. Drink lots of water!


We Welcome All Children
The City of Lloydminster welcomes children of all abilities and committed to the inclusion of all abilities and is committed to the inclusion of children with disabilities. To plan more effectively, please indicate any support or accommodations your child may require to enable their participation. We want to work together to ensure your child has a fun and positive experience!

Cancelations

In the event a camp is cancelled by a facility, patrons will be notified by phone at least seven days prior to the start date. You will have the choice to receive a full refund or to transfer tour child into another camp.

In the event you withdraw your child from a program, you may request a full refund or transfer into another program provided. The facility receives a minimum of seven days' notice. Any requests received less than seven days prior to the start of the program will be issued a refund of 50%. Any requests for a refund after the start of a program will be prorated based on the number of program sessions remaining and subject to valid medical reasons.

Things to Note:
  • A child may be suspended from a camp under the following conditions
    • A child injures another individual requiring medical attention
    • A child displays violent, uncontrollable behaviour that will put others in the program at risk
  • The facilities are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • All children must be fully potty-trained.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up your child, a late fee will be charged at a rate of $15 every 15 minutes.
