Councillor Michele Charles Gustafson
My Lloydminster story began in 1987 when my parents moved to the city to start a private dental practice. I completed my education in Lloydminster schools, earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, before returning to Lloydminster in 2000.
As a Councillor, I bring an entrepreneurial spirit, and diverse experience in strategic marketing, small business development, sales training, and personal brand creation. I am driven by a strong sense of service and have been active force in Lloydminster for decades, serving as President of the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce and remaining involved with Rotary Clubs, the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation, School Community Council and more.
Currently, I lead an international business, empowering individuals, and organizations to achieve new results through personal growth coaching and business, team, and leadership consulting.
On a personal note, I find great satisfaction in my role as a wife and mother and pride myself balancing family, professional and community life – which includes cooking tasty food and dancing to good music.
In my first term on Council, I look forward to discovering opportunities to inspire people through authenticity, optimism, and knowledge to help our community thrive.
