Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster invites local seniors to connect, learn, and celebrate National Seniors Day at a free Lunch & Learn on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Legacy Centre.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster will conduct its 2026 Point-in-Time (PiT) Homeless Count on Wednesday, October 21, from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., to better understand homelessness in the community.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is seeking feedback on proposed amendments to Land Use Bylaw 05-2025. Feedback will be accepted until Thursday, September 24 at 5 p.m.

Early each weekday morning, while much of Lloydminster is just getting started, a small team of City employees are already out walking the downtown area.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Asphalt trail rehabilitation is scheduled to begin at Bud Miller All Seasons Park on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster City Council has approved a temporary monthly rebate for affected utility account customers as the City prepares to transition residential recycling services to Alberta’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program on October 1, 2026.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster City Council has directed Administration to make targeted changes to downtown benches and greenspaces and to consider public-safety impacts. The direction is the latest step in the City’s ongoing response to social disruption affecting the downtown and other areas of the community.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is reminding non-profit organizations that property tax exemption applications are due on or before Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
