    Each year, property owners receive a Notice of Assessment from the City of Lloydminster. This document has been a topic of discussion for some time, and since being elected as Mayor, I have had many conversations about it with residents.

  • Outdoor ice surfaces closed for the 2024/2025 season

    Lloydminster, AB/SK— The City of Lloydminster has closed all city-maintained outdoor ice surfaces for the season, including Bud Miller All Seasons Park. Fluctuating temperatures, along with recent and ongoing warm weather, have made it difficult to maintain ice quality and ensure safe skating conditions.

  • Outdoor Winterfest activities adjusted due to extreme cold

    Lloydminster, AB/SK – Due to extreme cold temperatures, all outdoor Winterfest activities at Bud Miller All Seasons Park have been cancelled for the safety of participants and staff. Families can still enjoy a full lineup of indoor activities, including:

    • Bioclean Aquatic Centre - Free public swimming with a DJ (12:00 - 3:00 p.m.)
    • Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre - Family curling and hot refreshments
    • Lloydminster Museum + Archives - Crafts, exhibits, and heritage activities
    • Servus Sports Centre - Bounce units, Family Puck and Stick, indoor shinny, Cozy Games, and more
  • City of Lloydminster receives Canadian Award for Financial Reporting

    Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster’s annual financial report for the year ended December 31, 2023, was awarded the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).  The Canadian Award for Financial Reporting program encourages municipal governments throughout Canada to publish high-quality financial reports and to provide peer recognition and technical guidance for officials preparing these reports.
