Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is reminding property owners that 2026 property taxes were due July 27, 2026. Under the City’s Tax Penalty Bylaw, outstanding property tax balances are subject to late payment penalties. Any balance remaining unpaid on September 26, 2026, will receive an additional penalty.

Traffic, traffic flow, and traffic speeds generate a great deal of discussion and concern in our city. As Lloydminster has grown, so has the volume of traffic generated by both businesses and residents. Highway 16 also remains busy day and night as commodities and finished goods move east and west through our city.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Bioclean Aquatic Centre will reopen as scheduled on Monday, September 21, following its annual maintenance closure. The wave pool will remain temporarily unavailable while repairs to the wave pool pump piping are completed.
