Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is reminding property owners that a five percent penalty will be applied to 2025 property tax payments received after April 25, 2026.

Spring is beginning to arrive in Lloydminster, and as the snow recedes, litter and garbage that built up over the winter becomes more visible across roads, ditches, and open spaces.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster, in partnership with ATCO, the Lloydminster Construction Association (LCA), and the Lakeland Regional Safety Committee (LRSC), will hold a ceremony on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 to observe National Day of Mourning. The event will take place at the City Hall parking lot, beginning at  9:30 a.m., to honour those who have lost their lives or have been injured in the workplace.
