
Lloydminster AB/SK - The Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre (LGCC) golf course will officially open for the season on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
The 18-hole, par 72 championship course will be open from 8:00 a.m. until dark for the golf season, pending weather conditions.
All 18 greens and tee boxes are in play. Bunkers are not yet open but are expected to be in play in coming days.
Power carts are available to rent and will be limited to paths until further notice.
Memberships, including regular, couple, senior, junior and corporate, are available for purchase at the Pro Shop.
Background
The LGCC is home to a PGA of Canada teaching facility, driving range, practice green and short game facility, offering guests the ultimate golf experience on the border. LGCC hosts corporate events and special celebrations with a fully licensed kitchen and lounge, operated by Harvest to Home. The Pro Shop is operated by Wheaton Golf Services.
The golf course appeals to experienced golfers and beginners, offering four sets of tee boxes ranging from 5,700 yards to 7,000 yards.
