Centennial Civic Centre
The Centennial Civic Centre (CCC) served the community for 58 years as Lloydminster’s largest-capacity event arena and a central gathering place for residents. Over the decades, it hosted major events such as the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling, the Allan Cup, and a wide range of provincial, national and international competitions. The facility also welcomed well-known performers, including Johnny Cash and June Carter, creating lasting memories for generations of residents.
Following the end of its usable life, the facility officially closed in December 2025. While the building is no longer in operation, its impact on the community and its role in Lloydminster’s history continue to be recognized and preserved.
