 Building Maintenance Repairman

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:

Regular Full Time



RATE OF PAY:

$19.02 - $21.02/Hour
(Subject to C.U.P.E. Local 1015 Agreement)

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of Grade XII plus previous demonstrated experience in the architectural group of trades.  Trade qualifications at a minimum level or beyond are required. Applicant must have a valid Class V Vehicle Operator's licence issued in Saskatchewan or Alberta with a clean driving record.  Applicant must be in good physical condition.

DUTIES:

This position is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance primarily in the architectural building group of trades, although assistance in other trades will be required from time to time.  Work will be internal to building maintenance and exterior including grounds work.  The applicant is part of the operation and maintenance department for the Corporate Affairs Department and Parks and Recreation Department.  The focus will be on building repair and maintenance but, the successful candidate will be required to assist and backup arena and pool staff.  There is a requirement to obtain additional facility certifications based on a staff development plan.
