TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:	Full-time
RATE OF PAY:	$22.88 - 25.74/HR (Subject to C.U.P.E. Local 1015 Agreement)
QUALIFICATIONS:	Must possess a post secondary graduation by a recognized institute in Urban Planning or equivalent discipline. The candidate must be capable of working independently, neatly and accurately with the ability to meet deadlines.  Applicant must have a Class V Vehicle Operators License.
DUTIES:	The Planning Technician will be required to perform a variety of research duties which generate material in a computer assisted environment.  The Planning Technician also prepares maps and illustrations suitable for written reports and provides assistance in the preparation of graphic and visual presentations as well as assists in the collection and analysis of data.  This position involves the assignment of alternate duties on occasion.
