TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:	Full Time
RATE OF PAY:	$18.92 per hour (Subject to C.U.P.E. Local 1015 Agreement)
QUALIFICATIONS:	A minimum Grade 12.  Employee must enter into a training agreement with the City that compels the employee to pursue certification in the Water Distribution and Waste Water Collection Certification Program or Alberta Equivalent. Must possess as a minimum a valid Class V Vehicle Operator's License registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan with a clean driving record.  Must be in good physical condition.
DUTIES:l	The Utility Operator will participate in the ongoing maintenance and operation program of valve control and disinfections, street safety, and all existing Sumps and Grease Traps as covered under the City Water & Sewer Bylaw.  The position involves shift work and the assignment of alternate duties on occasion.
