The City of Lloydminster has a cooperative relationship with the neighbouring County and Municipalities through the Intermunicipal Liaison Committee (ILC) and the Lloydminster Planning District Commission (LPDC). The City and the County of Vermilion River participate in the joint ILC. The City and the Rural Municipalities of Wilton and Britannia are involved in the LPDC.
