This Father’s Day weekend, June 17-19 in Lloydminster, is shaping up as one to mark on the calendar and one to be remembered for years to come. Ribfest, RCMP Musical Ride and the Just Kruzin’ car show are the headliners on the docket.
Start the weekend by attending and eating delicious barbecue ribs, brisket and much more at Ribfest, returning to Lloydminster Exhibition grounds. This event will be here in its fullness with onsite dining for your pleasure and those looking for refreshments, beer gardens and a cabaret on Friday and Saturday evenings. While you may be just thinking about the taste of those great different barbecue vendors, you can also plan on taking dad and the rest of the family to see the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride. There are three great performances scheduled at the Lloydminster Exhibition Grandstand. The Musical Ride is a Canadian tradition since 1876, a troop of 32 scarlet-coated Mounties on majestic black horses present a 30-minute show of intricate figures and cavalry drills choreographed to music. This is your opportunity to attend a world-class event right here in our city.
