Pedestrian safety is at the top of mind as the City of Lloydminster, in conjunction with ASL Paving Ltd., move the crosswalk located at the entrance of Bud Miller All Seasons Park deeper into the outdoor amenity.
Beginning Monday, June 29, 2020, crews will begin the required work to reconfigure the north-south crosswalk in an effort to improve pedestrian safety. Once complete, the crosswalk will be further away from College Drive (62 Street) and will allow motorists more time to react if they encounter a trail user when turning west into the park.
The existing trail will remain intact while crews complete the path's reconfiguration. Park users are asked to maintain a safe distance from the construction area, slow down if driving in the construction zone, and obey all posted signage.
