Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster seeks additional fundraising committee members responsible for developing initiatives to fundraise for Lloydminster Place.
The fundraising committee will focus on fundraising opportunities such as events, auctions, and other fundraising initiatives that engage the community. The committee will work closely with the sponsorship committee to ensure both committees support major initiatives.
Those interested in applying to serve on the sponsorship committee are asked to complete the fundraising committee application form. The deadline to apply is 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Before applying, interested parties are encouraged to review the terms of reference.
Background
City Council approved the committees and the respective terms of reference during the Monday, January 24, 2022, council meeting. Additionally, Councillor Jason Whiting was appointed to the sponsorship committee, and Councillor Aaron Buckingham was appointed to the fundraising committee. Both will serve a term ending December 31, 2022.
