1. Council appointed Steven Hickman to the position of Business General for the Downtown Area Redevelopment Committee for a two-year term, commencing November 7, 2022, and ending September 1, 2024.
Chief Financial Officer
1. Council accepted the Financial Statements for the month ending September 30, 2022, as presented.
Operations
1. Council approved the award of the Bud Miller All Seasons Park Master Plan – Consultant to Crosby Hanna & Associates of Saskatoon, Sask., in the amount of $44,990, excluding GST, to be allocated from the 2022 Capital Budget Project No.:2271004. In addition, Council approved a contingency allowance of 15% in the amount of $6,749, excluding GST, to be allocated from the 2022 Capital Budget Project No.:2271004.
2. Council approved the award for the 2023-2025 Water Sewer Maintenance Standing Offer Agreement to Rusway Construction Ltd. of Lloydminster, Alta.
3. Council requested additional information about the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre Office and Maintenance Shop consultant award and directed Administration to bring the item forward to a future Council meeting for a decision.
Bylaws
1. Council granted first reading to Bylaw No. 12-2022, Taxation of Student Dormitories Bylaw.
The next Governance and Priorities Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. via livestream and in person. This meeting is to present the first draft of the 2023 municipal operating and capital budget.
