
Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster reminds all businesses that if they are not a critical public service or an allowable business, they must close.
These measures were introduced on Thursday, March 26, 2020, and remain in effect until further notice.
Examples of a non-allowable business
- Clothing / shoe store
- Flower shop
- Sporting good, adventure store
- Vaping supply shop
- Boat / ATV / Snowmobile retailer
- Gift / Book / Stationery store
- Jewelry / Accessory store
- Toy store
- Music / Electronic / Entertainment
- Pawn Shop
- Travel agency
All businesses that are not a critical public service or an allowable business are permitted to expand into online retailing, or providing pickup or delivery services.
A list of critical public services and allowable businesses can be found on the City of Lloydminster website.
The above measures and those indicated in the State of Local Emergency implemented, including that any order issued under the Saskatchewan Health Act shall apply to the City of Lloydminster in its entirety.
