Lloydminster, AB/SK – Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer, Dr. Saqib Shahab, announced the public health order dated December 17, 2020, will remain in effect until Friday, January 29, 2021.
Applicable to the City of Lloydminster in its entirety, the public health measures include:
- Private, indoor gatherings are limited to immediate household members only.
- Exceptions may apply to anyone living alone or those who require a caregiver or service repairs.
- Outdoor gatherings with up to 10 people are permitted.
- Physical distancing between households must be maintained.
- Direction for:
- licensed establishments;
- sports, fitness and dance;
- places of worship;
- retail spaces; and
- mandatory masking.
- All non-essential interprovincial travel is discouraged.
Health officials also remind those who are feeling unwell to stay home and to avoid gatherings.
The public health order and health measures will be reviewed by the provincial government later this month.
