Lloydminster, AB/SK – Residents and businesses were mailed property tax notices on May 22, 2020, and are asked to settle any outstanding balance by November 10, 2020.
The City of Lloydminster developed a Payment Option Relief Plan to help alleviate some of the financial pressure caused by COVID-19. Under the plan, utility payments could be deferred until September 30, 2020, and residential and commercial property owners have until November 10, 2020, to pay current property taxes.
Those making payments are encouraged to use online payment options to reduce in-person transactions at City Hall. Payment methods are provided on the invoice and can also be found at lloydminster.ca/payments.
Anyone who has not received a property tax notice is asked to call 780-875-6184 Ext. 2124, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Non-receipt of one’s property tax notice does not exempt one from late payment penalties.
