Lloydminster, Alta. – On June 11, 2024, at approximately 7:06 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP received reports of a home invasion within the community. Upon arrival, RCMP located two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were airlifted to the hospital.
As a result of our ongoing investigation, the following people have been charged with break and entering with intent:
- Kyle Soosay, a 34 year-old resident of Onion Lake, Sask.
- Terrance Stonechild, a 36-year-old resident of Wetaskiwin, Alta.
- Warren Littlewolfe, a 33-year-old resident of Edmonton
They were taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody with their next court date set for September 3 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster.
Valance Wapass, a 39-year-old resident of Onion Lake, Sask. has also been charged with break and enter with intent and is currently awaiting a Judicial Interim Hearing.
Multiple other individuals have been charged with break and enter with intent and are currently wanted by police:
- Aimery Thunderblanket, a 20-year-old resident of Sweetgrass First Nation, Sask.
- Troy Cross, a 37-year-old resident of Elk Point, Alta.
- Richard Cross, 45-year-old resident of Saskatoon, Sask.
- Louisa Wahpistikwan, a 27-year-old resident of Onion Lake, Sask.
