Positive Ticketing Program | City of Lloydminster

The Positive Ticketing Program celebrates community members who make Lloydminster safer, kinder, and more connected — one positive action at a time.

Community Peace Officers, Bylaw Officers, Lloydminster Fire Rescue, and the RCMP can issue Positive Tickets to anyone demonstrating safe, respectful, and community-minded behaviour. Whether it is helping a neighbour, wearing safety gear like a helmet, or using crosswalks correctly, positive actions do not go unnoticed.

The program is designed to build stronger relationships between residents and enforcement or emergency services by focusing on recognition rather than enforcement. By rewarding good choices, the program helps break down barriers, especially with youth, and encourages ongoing positive interactions in the community.

Each Positive Ticket also comes with a small reward from one of Lloydminster’s participating local businesses as a thank-you for making our city a better place to live.

To redeem your reward, bring your ticket to the business listed before the expiration date. The reward is only valid at the business named on the ticket. The business will remove the bottom tab once redeemed, and you can keep the ticket as a reminder of your good deed.
