History

Since opening its doors in 1967, the Centennial Civic Centre has been a cornerstone of sports, entertainment, and community life in Lloydminster. For generations, it has welcomed thousands of people through its doors — hosting everything from hockey games and concerts to weddings, graduations, and cultural celebrations. It’s more than just a building; it’s where memories were made.

As we look ahead to the future of recreation in our city with the anticipated opening of the Cenovus Energy Hub in Fall 2025, the Centennial Civic Centre will be permanently decommissioned. To honour its incredible 58-year legacy, the Centennial Civic Centre Farewell campaign invites residents and visitors alike to reflect, celebrate, and say goodbye.

Through a series of farewell events, the launch of commemorative merchandise, and a community-wide call for memories, the campaign offers everyone a chance to be part of this historic goodbye. Whether you laced up your skates, cheered from the stands, or danced at a concert, this is your moment to celebrate the role the Centennial Civic Centre played in shaping Lloydminster’s story.

Factory Sports has a full range of sizing samples and stock available in-store for you to try on. Our team is happy to assist you in finding the right fit before you place your order.

I bought my merchandise online and it doesn't fit. Can I get a refund?

We don’t offer refunds on custom or online orders.

We highly recommend visiting Factory Sports to try on samples before placing an order. This way, you can find the perfect fit and feel confident in your purchase. Their team is always happy to help with sizing and ensure you get exactly what you need!

How will I be contacted once my order is ready?

A pickup confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Be sure to check your inbox (and junk folder, just in case) for updates.

After I place my order, how long will it take for it to be ready for pickup?

Once your order is placed, it will typically be ready for pickup within 5 to 14 business days. You’ll receive a notification by email as soon as it’s available for pickup at Factory Sports.

I placed my order online, where do I pick it up? Do I need to bring any proof of purchase?

All online orders can be picked up in-store at Factory Sports, 4803 – 50th Ave, Lloydminster, SK. Simply provide the name on the order (used at checkout) to one of our associates, and they’ll be happy to locate it for you. No additional proof of purchase is required.

Farewell Events

~~One More Time Cabaret & Concert~~ Cancelled

The One More Time Farewell Cabaret & Concert, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, has been cancelled due to lower than anticipated ticket sales.

Residents who purchased tickets online will be automatically refunded to their credit card. No action is required. Those who purchased tickets in person are asked to contact Linsay Organ, Manager, Accounting and Assurance, by email at lorgan@lloydminster.ca or by phone at (780) 875-6184 Ext. 2215 to arrange a refund.

All refund requests must be completed by November 30, 2025.

The City appreciates the community’s continued support and looks forward to celebrating together at future events.
