Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is advising motorists the railway crossing on 62 Avenue between 47 Street and 52 Street will be closed for maintenance beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 until 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020, weather permitting.
Canadian National Railway will perform a complete removal of the crossing surface, rails, ties and track ballast down to subgrade. The crossing will then be rebuilt with new material. During the maintenance project, there will be no access to through traffic.
Motorists are advised to follow the marked detour signage and to drive courteously when driving through construction zones.
