Lloydminster, AB/SK – In conjunction with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the City of Lloydminster is issuing an advisory after confirmation a person who tested COVID-19 positive attended the Servus Sports Centre while likely contagious.
Public Health officials are advising individuals who attended the Servus Sports Centre during the specified time below to self-monitor for 14 days.

If COVID-19 systems develop, immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your physician or nurse practitioner, to arrange for testing. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. For information on self-monitoring, visit saskatchewan.ca.
The Servus Sports Centre will remain open at this time and will continue following the direction of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Since the reopening of the Servus Sports Centre in June 2020 and the spectators' return in September 2020, all publicly available areas are disinfected after user group departure. These measures are also implemented between the fitness centre and fitness track bookings.
Residents must continue to follow necessary personal protective measures to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, including maintaining physical distancing, washing hands frequently, among other hygiene practices.
Residents and business owners are reminded the City of Lloydminster is under a State of Local Emergency. All previously implemented restrictions and social distancing measures remain in effect for both the City of Lloydminster in its entirety. Per the Lloydminster Charter, the City of Lloydminster is compelled to abide by orders issued under the Saskatchewan Health Act.
The City of Lloydminster has not mandated the use of facemasks. Anyone who wishes to wear one is encouraged to do so. Additional information is available at lloydminster.ca/covid-19.
