Fall is officially here, and we’ve begun to witness the change of seasons. The air is cooler, and the geese can be seen and heard regularly.
As we move into fall, activities continue in and around our community. With fall comes fall suppers throughout our area. For many, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a meal of turkey, ham or roast beef and all the trimmings, usually accompanied by fresh homemade desserts, pie, crisp or cake. Keep an eye out for the schedule in the paper, on Facebook or on your favourite coffee shop bulletin board. My family always does its best to attend and support these great gatherings. It’s always nice to take over the cooking for a night and know that you will have a fantastic meal.
