Civic Services and Operations for the Holiday Season 2019

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster will provide the following services and hours of operation throughout the holiday season:

• City Hall is closed Wednesday, December 25, 2019, through Wednesday, January 1, 2020, reopening with regular hours of operation Thursday, January 2, 2020.

• The Operations Centre is closed Wednesday, December 25, 2019, through Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Regular hours of operation resume Thursday, January 2, 2020. For emergencies, Operations can be reached at the after-hours number, 780-874-3700.

Residents can use the online Report a Concern service at lloydminster.ca/reportaconcern to report road maintenance issues, among other items of concern.

• The Lloydminster RCMP Detachment is closed Wednesday, December 25, 2019, through Wednesday, January 1, 2020, reopening with regular hours of operation Thursday, January 2, 2020. The detachment can be reached by calling 780-808-8300 for general concerns or 911 in an emergency.

• The Bylaw Office is closed Wednesday, December 25, 2019, through Wednesday, January 1, 2020, reopening with regular hours of operation Thursday, January 2, 2020. Complaints can still be made by calling 780-874-3710. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

• The Lloydminster Sanitary Landfill is closed on the following dates:
  • Wednesday, December 25
  • Thursday, December 26, 2019
  • Sunday, December 29, 2019
  • Wednesday, January 1, 2020

Natural Christmas tree collection will be available at the Landfill from Friday, December 27, 2019, to Sunday, January 19, 2020, during regular operating hours.

The Landfill will return to regular hours of operation on Thursday, January 2, 2020. For holiday hours, visit lloydminster.ca/landfill.

• Should your curbside collection fall on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, collection will occur on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Thursday, December 26, 2019, will be a regular collection day. If your collection falls on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, curbside collection will occur on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

Curbside natural Christmas tree collection will take place from January 8-10, 2020, and January 13 and 14, 2020.

• Archie Miller and Russ Robertson is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 24. Both arenas are closed from Wednesday, December 25, 2019, to Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Regular hours of operation resume Thursday, January 2, 2020.

• The Bioclean Aquatic Centre (BAC) will operate on the following hours:
  • Tuesday, December 24, 2019 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 25-26, 2019 – Closed
  • Friday, December 27, 2019 – 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 28, 2019 – 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 29, 2019 – 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, December 30, 2019 – 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 31, 2019 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 1, 2020 – Closed
  • Thursday, January 2, 2020 – 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Friday, January 3, 2020 – 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Monday, December 30, 2019 – 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 31, 2019 – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 1, 2020 – Closed

• The Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre (LGCC) Pro Shop and golf course is closed until spring 2020. For more information, visit lgcc.ca.

• Servus Sports Centre (SSC) will operate on the following hours:
  • Tuesday, December 24, 2019 – 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 25, 2019 – Closed
  • Thursday, December 26, 2019 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, December 27, 2019 – 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 28, 2019 – 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 29, 2019 – 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, December 30, 2019 – 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
