Lloydminster, AB/SK – On Thursday, April 23, 2020, Premier Scott Moe announced the Government of Saskatchewan’s plan to reopen the province. The plan will use a phased-in approach, allowing the provincial government to slowly and responsibly lift restrictions on businesses and services.
“With any decision, the health and safety of the community is of the utmost importance. The City of Lloydminster continues its discussions with both provincial governments and their respective health authorities to assess the plan’s impacts at the local level. This will allow the City to ensure any amendments made under the State of Local Emergency are in alignment of both provinces,” said Jordan Newton, Manager of Emergency Measures Operations.
Residents and business owners within the limits of the city of Lloydminster, are reminded to follow the measures set out in the State of Local Emergency. These measures can be found at lloydminster.ca/COVID-19.
