This is an important health notification for the community of Lloydminster as we continue contact tracing for recent positive cases in the Lloydminster area. During the COVID-19 outbreak please take precautions to protect yourself, your families and everyone who lives in the community. COVID-19 is present in Saskatchewan and Alberta and we all have a responsibility to minimize the spread of the disease.
We know that most cases are no longer travel related and that local person-to-person spread is taking place in several communities including in Lloydminster.
Social distancing is physical distancing and something that everyone needs to be doing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, which is in our community. The reality is hitting home – the Lloydminster area is not immune.
