Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Government of Saskatchewan announced all current public health orders and the outlined public health measures are extended until Friday, February 19, 2021.
As a reminder, the public health orders apply to the City of Lloydminster in its entirety and include:
- Private, indoor gatherings are limited to immediate household members only.
- Exceptions may apply to anyone living alone or those who require a caregiver or service repairs.
- Indoor public banquets, conferences, wedding and funeral receptions in public venues will be limited to 30 people. Food or beverages may not be present or served.
- Outdoor gatherings with up to 10 people are permitted.
- Physical distancing between households must be maintained.
- Bars, restaurants and licensed establishments are limited to four people per table.
- Places of worship (including wedding, funeral, and baptismal services), banquet centres and performance and event venues are limited to 30 people, and physical distancing must be maintained.
- Casinos and bingo halls remain closed. VLTs in facilities outside of casinos and bingo halls are permitted.
- In addition to the above services, additional directions for retail spaces, personal care services, and sports, fitness and dance are available on the Government of Saskatchewan website.
- All non-essential interprovincial travel is discouraged.
Health officials also remind those who are feeling unwell to stay home.
The provincial government will continue to monitor COVID-19 trends and re-evaluate the public health measures before the end of the latest extension.
