The following is a public service announcement from the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
More information about the City of Lloydminster’s COVID-19 response, including frequently asked questions and a business toolkit, is available at Lloydminster.ca/COVID-19.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is advising residents of Lloydminster, Sask., and Lloydminster, Alta., that all COVID-19 immunizations for the entire community of Lloydminster will be provided by the SHA based on the roll-out plans established for the province of Saskatchewan, and in alignment with our existing partnership agreement with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health to deliver health services to the entire community of Lloydminster.
The SHA will immunize all Lloydminster, Alberta and Saskatchewan residents who want to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as quickly as possible, based on priority sequencing and allocation of vaccines to the province of Saskatchewan. SHA is making direct calls to eligible individuals in Phase 1, through information obtained for Saskatchewan residents via contact lists from eHealth Saskatchewan, and for Alberta residents via information provided directly to the SHA from Alberta Health Services.
Individuals who are concerned that their contact information may not be up-to-date can ensure it is updated through the eHealth Saskatchewan Health Services Card Information for Saskatchewan residents, or through Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) for Alberta residents.
A community Question and Answer Sheet is available to be accessed online, with general details of the roll-out plan to deliver vaccinations to the entire community of Lloydminster.
