Lloydminster, AB/SK – Road repairs along 40 Avenue from 52 Street to 57 Street will result in temporary traffic detours beginning August 13, 2024, and expected to remain in effect for three (3) weeks depending on weather.
Traffic accommodation measures, including signage and detours, will be implemented for the duration of the work to ensure the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians.
The proposed traffic accommodation plan will detour traffic around the construction site via 67 Street, 50 Avenue, and 52 Street. Access to Gopher Hill Paintball will be via 67 Street south on 40 Avenue.
Properties along 40 Avenue will continue to have access while work is completed.
Motorists are reminded to drive safely around the construction zones and to follow all construction signage and detours.
