Downtown redevelopment committee seeking new members

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Calling creative thinkers and community advocates. The Downtown Area Redevelopment Committee (DARC) is looking for four passionate individuals to join its dynamic team and help shape the future of Downtown Lloydminster.

Anyone looking to get involved in revitalizing downtown Lloydminster and implementing the Downtown Area Redevelopment Plan (DARP) is encouraged to review the findings in the DARP before applying.

Committee Details

Downtown Area Redevelopment Committee

• Monitor and carry out the DARP Implementation Plan 
• Work as a community to improve Lloydminster’s downtown experience
• Present a progress report to the City of Lloydminster’s Executive Leadership Team and Council semi-annually, including support requirements for completing the implementation plan.
• Reassess progress in 3 years as a committee and report progress to Council to determine the need for continuation.
