Lloydminster, AB/SK – Through in-person and online budget engagement opportunities, property owners and residents can share their opinions on municipal spending priorities and vision for future investment.
This year’s budget engagement focuses on engaging today to shape tomorrow and address key aspects directly impacting residents’ daily lives and their overall satisfaction with city services. The in-person engagement opportunities and survey invite residents to provide input into five key service areas and levels:

- Public safety and emergency services – Includes the Lloydminster Fire Department, municipal enforcement services such as bylaw and the Lloydminster RCMP.
- Parks and green spaces – Includes maintaining over 50 parks and playgrounds, community garden plots, baseball and softball diamonds, outdoor recreation such as soccer and cross-country ski trails and six acres of lake ice for recreational skating. The City also maintains nearly 800 acres of green space and cares for more than 100 shrub beds and 10,500 annual flowers to help create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
- Recreation and culture – Includes arenas, aquatics and other outdoor amenities, as well as indoor recreation and cultural services.
