44 Street: Crews to test traffic signals as project nears completion

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The traffic signals between 59 Avenue and 75 Avenue along Highway 16 (44 Street) will revert to an all-red flash (four-way stop) mode while crews test the traffic indicators throughout the evening of Thursday, October 28, 2021, beginning at around 10 p.m.

This step is required as crews prepare to open Highway 16 to regular traffic flow. During the inspection, delays can be expected while travelling along the east-west corridor.

Motorists are reminded to allow extra time for travel, slow down when driving in construction zones, and obey all traffic signals, signs, detours and barriers.
