Lloydminster Place budget presentation, project update

UPDATE (February 21, 2023): During the Governance and Priorities Committee meeting on February 13, Administration indicated the project would be brought forward to Council on February 27, 2023, for a decision. However, grant funding has not yet been announced. Therefore, Administration will not be bringing this item forward for a decision on February 27, 2023. More information will be released as it becomes available.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – City Administration presented a Lloydminster Place project update to Council during the Governance and Priorities Committee meeting on Monday, February 13, 2023.

The update provided an overview of the project to-date and the approximate associated costs of the project depending on what project build is selected.

Background

The City of Lloydminster announced a location for the proposed event facility during a special council meeting on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
