The Lloydminster Public Library is advancing to the next stage of its reopening plan, offering in-person express service.
Express service allows patrons to access limited in-person library services, including:
- browsing parts of the library collection
- picking up and checking out using our self-checkout machines
- library card registration and reader's advisory assistance from our staff
- express computer access (30 minutes per day)
To maintain safety and prevent the transmission of COVID-19, we are asking everyone to observe the following:
- Please refrain from visiting if you have signs of COVID-19, have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 or have been out of the country in the past 14 days.
- A mask covering your face and mouth must always be worn while in the library.
- 30 people in the library at a time.
- Keep your visit short – about 30 minutes – so that we can serve more visitors.
- Any returned items and items that are touched but not borrowed will be quarantined for five days.
The library is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The first hour of each day is set aside for at-risk patrons.
Patrons are encouraged to visit the library's website or Facebook page for updates. Additional questions can be answered by phone (780-875-0850) or by email, info@lloydminster.info.
