Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Lloydminster & District Co-op Marketplace is now a temporary point-of-sale location for the Seniors Taxi Program.
The Seniors Taxi Program assists Lloydminster seniors (65+) with transportation costs through the provision of vouchers. The vouchers cost $5 each and are to be exchanged with local taxi providers for one-way, non-stop, transit within city limits.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Lloydminster’s Family and Community Support Services department has partnered with the Lloydminster & District Co-op Marketplace (3606 50 Avenue) for the temporary resale of senior taxi vouchers. Vouchers are available for purchase at the Customer Service counter.
Vouchers are available for purchase at:
- Servus Credit Union locations (5009 18 Street, and 5012 49 Street/Atrium Centre)
- Synergy Credit Union by appointment (4908 42 Street)
- Lloydminster & District Co-op Marketplace (3606 50 Avenue)
