Servus Sports Centre Ice Surfaces

The Servus Sports Centre is home to two full sized ice rinks, the Rusway Construction Arena and Robert B. Holmes Arena, one Leisure Ice surface and an outdoor Speedskating Oval.

Speed Skating Oval

Enjoy Lloydminster's only speed skating oval. Located outside next to the Servus Sports Centre, the oval offers skaters a great place to practice and have fun. The rink on the inside of the oval offers shinny for our hockey loving visitors.

Activities

Public Skating

Public skating users participate at their own risk. Parental supervision is required for all children under the age of 14 years. During public skating, you cannot use hockey sticks, balls and pucks.

Servus Credit Union, in partnership with the City of Lloydminster, is hosting ongoing free drop-in public skating!

Tuesdays - Sundays 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.*

Mondays 12 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. (Centennial Civic Centre) October 1 - March 31

Sundays 5:15 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. (Centennial Civic Centre)

Thursdays 9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (SSC Robert B Holmes Arena) September 1 - March 31

Sundays 5:15 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. (Archie Miller Arena) November 1 - March 8

Arena Use Guidelines

Servus Family Free Skate Sponsored by Servus Credit Union

Age group: All ages

Requirements: Helmets are recommended but not required

Restrictions: Absolutely NO sticks and pucks are allowed on the ice

Important Reminders:

Drop-in Family Free Skate is free of charge.
Come dressed to participate, there are no change rooms available. Designated bench space will be provided for patrons.
Bring only what you need to skate, the City of Lloydminster will not be lending out equipment at this time including loaner skates. Skating aids are available.

No access to dressing rooms. The benches are to be used at ice level.

Age group: For families. Parents or guardians must accompany any child under the age of 12.

Requirements: Helmets and wristband. Adult guardians must be on the ice with the children at all times or supervising from ice level

Reminder: No access to dressing rooms. The benches are to be used at ice level.
