Call For Photos
The City of Lloydminster is launching an open call for photography submissions that capture the people, places, events, and experiences that make our community unique. Local and regional photographers are invited to submit high-quality images across the categories below, highlighting community life, civic pride, local growth, and the identity of Lloydminster.
Selected photos will be purchased by the City of Lloydminster for an agreed upon per-image fee and will be added to our municipal image bank for ongoing promotional and corporate use.
Community in Action
For this category, we are looking for authentic, people-focused photos that showcase everyday life in Lloydminster.
Examples:
- Families, seniors, youth, and friend groups enjoying amenities
- Recreation and sport in motion
- Outdoor lifestyle imagery (river valley activities, fishing, paddling, winter recreation, etc.)
- Smiles, movement, connection, and energy

- Cenovus Energy Hub
- Servus Sports Centre
- Bioclean Aquatic Centre
- Lloydminster Public Library
- Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre
- Bud Miller All Seasons Park
- Sports fields, playgrounds, off-leash dog park
Events & Civic Energy
In this category, we are looking for bold images that capture the excitement and community pride in Lloydminster.

Neighbourhoods, Growth & Investment
This category is all about the images that showcase Lloydminster as a place to live, work, and invest.
Examples:

- New developments and commercial growth

- Industrial and commercial buildings

Public Spaces & Community Identity
For this category, we are looking for environmental and seasonal imagery that defines Lloydminster.

Photo Requirements
Please ensure your photo(s) meet the following technical requirements:
- High resolution (print quality, minimum 300 dpi)
- Minimal heavy filters or stylization
- Landscape orientation preferred
- Model releases required for identifiable individuals
- Clean compositions suitable for marketing materials
