Lloydminster Fire Department invites community to Fire Prevention Week Open House

Lloydminster, AB/SK – In recognition of Fire Prevention Week, the Lloydminster Fire Department will host an Open House at Fire Station #2 (2706 59 Ave) on October 8, 2024, from 3:30 p.m –7:30 p.m. This event offers an opportunity for the community to learn about fire safety, meet local firefighters, and explore the station.

The Open House will feature a variety of activities, including fire truck tours, demonstrations of firefighting equipment, and a chance to learn about the services provided within the city. Attendees can enjoy a bounce house, try target shooting with a fire hose, and receive free fire prevention materials such as colouring books, stickers, and fire hats. Fire prevention materials are available while supplies last.

The event is open to all ages and free to attend.
