Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is offering residents and businesses the opportunity to purchase municipal items through an online public auction.

While travelling to Newfoundland for meetings, I had the opportunity to visit the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Museum. With some time between commitments, the visit led me to reflect on how Canada supports its veterans after service. While this is a federal responsibility, it is one that also holds meaning for communities like Lloydminster.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Tickets for the 2026 Bordering on Disaster Conference presented by Cenovus Energy are now available. Early-bird pricing will be offered until May 31, 2026.

Lloydminster is often part of conversations at the local, provincial and national level when it comes to hosting events. Over the years, the community has welcomed a range of events across sport and culture.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster City Council has given first reading to borrowing Bylaw No. 03-2026 which will, upon final passage and approval, authorize the City of Lloydminster to borrow monies from the Province of Alberta, the Province of Saskatchewan or another authorized financial institution by way of debenture issue. The borrowed money will be used to pay for the cost of design and construction of the Landfill Operations Building, Entrance and Scalehouse within the City of Lloydminster.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is hosting its annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, April 18, at 9 a.m. at the Legacy Centre (5101 46 Street) to recognize the contributions of local volunteers.
