Lloydminster, AB/SK — Due to recent changes in the water quality of the North Saskatchewan River, residents may notice an earthy taste or odour in their tap water; however, the water remains safe to drink.

Lloydminster, AB/SK — Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Bordering on Disaster Conference presented by Cenovus Energy, scheduled for October 8 and 9 at the Lloydminster Exhibition. Lloydminster, AB/SK—Starting Thursday, July 17, weather-dependent, 40 Avenue will be closed to traffic between 36 Street and 44 Street to allow for planned roadwork and infrastructure upgrades. The closure will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will consist of closing between 36 Street and 43 Street, and Phase 2 will consist of closing between 36 Street and 44 Street.

On Thursday, July 3, the Lloydminster Fire Department responded to a reported fire at Grace United Church (4708 50 Ave). The incident was contained, and no injuries were reported.
