2026 property taxes due by July 27
Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is reminding all property owners that property taxes are due on or before Monday, July 27, 2026.
Penalties will apply to outstanding tax balances as of July 27, 2026, and late payment penalties will not be waived due to failure to receive your tax notice.
Property owners who have not received their 2026 tax notice are encouraged to contact Assessment and Taxation at 780-875-6184 ext. 2124 or email taxes@lloydminster.ca to request a copy.
Property Tax Payment Options
The following methods of payment are accepted:
- In Person: City Hall (cash, debit or cheque),
- At Your Bank: a financial institution,
- Online: online banking through your financial institution,
- Third-Party Payment Processor: PaySimply (credit card), or
- Secure Mailbox: City Hall mail slot in the west entrance between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily (cheque)
Property owners are asked to include their roll number on the cheque memo line and their email address on the payment slip so a receipt can be emailed to them.
Property owners who have paid their 2026 taxes may also register for pre-authorized debit payments to begin planning ahead for their 2027 property taxes.

Background
On Friday, June 5, 2026, property tax notices were mailed to property owners and sent electronically to those registered for e-notices. Mailed notices were printed on yellow paper for ease of recognition. Tax notices have been sent to all property owners and are due upon mailing and/or sending through e-notices.
