In 2025, Alberta reported 144 workplace fatalities, a decrease from 203 in 2024, while Saskatchewan recorded 27 fatalities, unchanged from the previous year. Workplace fatality numbers in Alberta and Saskatchewan have remained steady or declined in recent years, reflecting the importance of continued focus on safety protocols.
