Housing Working Group launches Tenant Guide to support tenants and landlords in Lloydminster

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The Lloydminster Housing Working Group, with support from the City of Lloydminster, has launched the Tenant Resource Guide to support healthy, informed tenant-landlord relationships and help residents make Lloydminster home.

This free resource provides tenants with clear, accessible information about their rights and responsibilities under both the Alberta and Saskatchewan Residential Tenancies Acts. It also includes practical guidance on property maintenance, money management, local bylaws, community services, and other resources to help tenants navigate rental housing, settle into the community, and contribute to safe, respectful neighbourhoods.

Local housing organizations are encouraged to distribute the guide to tenants as a resource throughout their rental journey.

Organizations can pre-order free printed copies of the Tenant Resource Guide by visiting Lloydminster.ca/Tenant, where a digital version of the guide is also available. Pre-ordered printed copies will be available for pickup at City Hall in September.
