Outstanding property taxes subject to additional penalties starting September 26
Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is reminding property owners that 2026 property taxes were due July 27, 2026. Under the City’s Tax Penalty Bylaw, outstanding property tax balances are subject to late payment penalties. Any balance remaining unpaid on September 26, 2026, will receive an additional penalty.

Property owners are responsible for paying property taxes by the due date, regardless of whether a tax notice is received. Late payment penalties will not be waived.
